Update
Hey!
So I've its been awhile since I posted here and a lot have happened! Im very excited for this year. Everything is completely different and new. I just actually got back from my 18k run and let me tell you it wasn't easy. Maybe because I didnt have the cheat day yesterday and I felt that today! I bonk and cramped a lot plus I was wearing my VFF KSO trek which pokes the ball of my feet with its tiny spikes. It was a true test of my mentality today and a great lesson learned with my nutrition.
This past week I meet up with a couple who completed several Ironmans! He finished 13 Ironman and she finished 10. They are both very nice and they are more than willing to help me get through with one. They are lending me their old mountain bike AND play with their Computrainer. She also made me some running plans to get through my first half marathon. Did I mention shes done 40 marathons and 5 ultramarathon including 100M(miles) run.
Another thing I'm excited to tell you is that I'm registered for Half Ironman Muskoka!! Training is pretty much underway. I fear for the swim but I should have a lot of time in the water by then.
Thats all for now. Im exhausted from my 18k run. Until next time!

Im toasty toast!
Its 1:20 am and I am at work with my legs burning below me.
Yesterday my work outs were:
60mins in the bike average speed at 30kph
25mins of core work out
60 mins swim with flippers that destroyed my ankle.
Today's work out (1/25/11)
13kilometers run with the pace of 7:05mins/k
From my diaphragm below, I am sore. A little twist to the side my core is sore. One step forward my legs are sore, reposition my feet my arch are achy! I am pretty much a walking pain. Im glad Steph cooked meal while I train, I am lucky to just come home and prep the table and eat!
Im declaring tomorow a leg rest day. I will still go for a swim as scheduled though.
Thats it for me! Im gonna try to survive another 5hrs of work :)
My friend Patti referred me to her friend who did 10 ironmans. She sent me a super long email! and I was quite excited to read all of her letter. She said I could ask her any questions so I sent her a novel of questions.

Blogging my mind out
I decided to blog to vent out the thoughts Ive had while swimming, biking and running. It is pretty boring and really sometimes the only person you can talk to is yourself.
Today I ran on the treadmill. After being off the treadmill for a couple of months, I found it mentally boring and less stimulating than the outdoor run I've been having. My left was also nagging in pain. In training thats pretty much a good indication to stop. Pool swim was all right. I did 4 laps of freestyle then 2 laps of just pure legs kicking, then 2 laps of freestyle and 2 laps of pure legs kicking again. Was a boring work out today but I had to be productive as much as I could.
Last night I said my farewell to my team SRP. Its a pretty hard transition coming from a team sport to lone sport. But I want to find the attitude to be independent to my own skills and power. So far running on my own I've been discovering some few good things about myself. 1: I can push myself to finish my goal and 2: Im actually super stronger than I actually thought. Its a good change. I plan to conquer triathlon this summer and my long term goal is Kona Ironman. That is a big goal and I am gonna take a bite of it each day.
Ah my long last planned came into website last night as I created my charity for Cancer. Any of you reading this, I hope you can help in any way you can. We'll never realized how much this means to some when we are actually a part of it. Have a great night :)
